During the spread of the COVID-19, WESTLAKE received the donation of face mask from partners, customers and suppliers around the world, including New Century in Philippine, HRB in Australia, SIYOB in Uzbekistan, LG CHEMICAL and KUMHO PETROCHEMICAL from Korea, BRITZ NETWORKS SDN.BHD in Malaysia, YXK INVESTMENT from Africa, and so on.

WESTLAKE appreciate the help from all of the partners and friend. Such aid supports to resume the production on Feb. 10, and today the facility utilization reached nearly 93%, almost recovered from the shock of the virus.

Now the COVID-19 situation in the area outside the Hubei province has been under control with the strong measures of quantitation from Chinese government. “We are confident that everything will be fine and market will return to normal in the coming two months in China. And we will try our best to secure a safe and qualified supply for global customers. In the 2020, we expect to produce more premium tires with the increasing investment in research and development to meet customer’s demands.”
